There’s something truly special about in-home newborn sessions. I find it rewarding to capture those early bonding moments between first time parents and their new bundle of joy. I recently had the honor of photographing little Daniel and his doting parents. Their session was nothing short of heartwarming!

What I love most about in-home sessions is the opportunity to incorporate personal touches and make everyone feel comfortable. There’s a sense of authenticity and warmth that shines through in the photos when everyone feels relaxed and at ease in their own home. It’s like capturing pure magic right where it happens!
Plus, this little family’s high rise condo was just a stunning backdrop. With natural light streaming through the windows, we captured some truly beautiful shots in Daniel’s nursery. These parents will get to look back and reminisce about their son as a baby, as well as how cozy and cute their baby’s room was back then.
I love bringing along a variety of props to complement the family’s style and add a bit of whimsy to the photos. For this newborn session, I brought a miniature bed and tiny basket that we got creative with. I’ve also become an expert with a baby swaddle over the years, ensuring those extra cuddly infant photos.
From all the family snuggles to Daniel’s sleepy grin, each snapshot showcased the love and joy that filled the room. As the session came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to document such a precious chapter in this family’s story. These photographs will serve as timeless reminders of the love and new beginnings that baby Daniel has brought into the world.
